London Walks

So we have I mean get to do 12 walks around London for my London walks class following the book "Walking London." I'm getting credit for walking around and exploring the city? Um yes please! It's great and I have only done 2 so far. Saturday after our Buckingham place adventure we walked around St James and Hyde Park. It was pretty cold out but so worth it. I loved walking around the ponds and finding good places to run. I saw people out roller skiing (like roller skates on skis), biking, running, etc. Its quite the active community here and I love being a part of it. We went to the Serpentine Gallery for our Fine Arts class after that which was kind of weird-watched some interesting videos.

Then today my friend Ashley & I below led one of the walks with some girls around SoHo, to ChinaTown and Leichester Square (the entertainment center and where you can get play tickets half off the day of) and then we ended at Trafalgar Square. An interesting fact-SoHo used to be a royal hunting ground and 'soho' was an old hunting cry. Funny to me because now it has great restaurants and fun shopping. I loved the area and will definitely go back. Good thing we've got this London walks "class" to encourage us exploring new areas & keeping us in shape.
